A downstairs bathroom needs changing from a 'bath' room, to a walk in shower room. The challenge was that the customer wanted to preserve the original tiles.

By carefully removing tiles and cleaning them, they could be used again to remodel the room.
As the room next door is going to be used as the bedroom, a new doorway had to be cut to make this an en-suite,
New large Ikea sink unit and wall cabinet make the room more usable.
Careful use of the preserved tiles hide the newly installed lintel over the door and make it look as if the doorway has always been there.
The area behind the old bath has been covered with a modern wall panel, and again using saved tiles, the end panels have been tiled to match.

Contemporary grab rails add style and safety to the large walk in shower.
New electric shower and towel rail complete the look and functionality of this new room.
